Hi all,
I think I’ve had a goodly enough break to get back to some things I like. it’s so, so good to be productive, even in the smallness of webspilling. I feel so grateful for your eyes and occasional comments. I know the majority of the recent posts have all been recipe/food oriented, and I intend to do more, but the firdge really came about as an attempt to document the strange loveliness of my life as told by the front of the fridge I share with my best friend and loving lover, róny. I would like to round out what the firdge is, exactly… and I will.
the garden as of today. nothing planted, but all turned and ready to go.
so, today, an ideal sunday breaths into my face some fantastic reading (on the nature of things, a catalogue from an exhibition by patrik andersson); a continuing stream of phil-talk with róny, a venture into baking, and oomphing up some leftovers for a fantastic sunday dinner the only way (not really) I know how. beside me is an orange super-fluff cat sitting contentedly with his head under the shade of a lamp. bobby is in his da-sein. in front is my little black jellybean, liffer, sleeping her soft cat life away. in front of her is crazy experimental noise/electro opera wailing and thrumming away from the other room where a mad tapper taps tappingly at his keyboard.
celery popping up from last year
I’ve ordered seeds and can’t wait to get in the garden properly. I am soooo keeeeeen! on top of keeness, literally now that I think of it, I’m growing out my hair in its natural state. it’s been something like 13 years since I’ve seen my unadulterated hair colour. expect to see no updates.
if you seek updates, please check out a collective I’m apart of here.
